Description
Black wide-wale corduroy with an elastane content, intended for trousers and skirts that have the corduroy look and still give. The wide ribbed texture gives the finished garment body, entirely without extra topstitching. It is just as suitable for dresses.
The composition is 97% cotton and 3% elastane, the weight is 280 g/m2 and the fabric width is 142 to 145 cm.
Markings are hard to see on black. Take light tailor’s chalk or a water-soluble marker and work in good light. At thick spots such as the waistband seam a longer stitch helps. Lint stays visible on dark corduroy, so shake the cut pieces out briefly before you sew.
