Description
This slider buckle is the adjuster for webbing on bags and rucksacks. It has a double design with a bar in the middle: you take the webbing around the bar and back through the second opening, so that the strap length can be adjusted and then stays put.
The buckle is silver-coloured and made for webbing 30 mm wide, so for shoulder straps and rucksack straps in bag making.
Thread the buckle on before you sew down the end of the webbing, otherwise you will be unpicking the seam again. My tip: neaten the end of the webbing and secure the seam with a bar tack, then the strap will hold even with a heavily loaded bag.
