Red is the colour that does nothing by halves. This French Terry in a clear red turns into a long-sleeved top that you will wear all year round. Strong shades need a simple pattern, otherwise the result gets busy. Guide the fabric loosely as you sew and the seams will not ripple.
French Terry (summer sweatshirt fabric) in cotton with elastane
This French Terry is not brushed on the inside and is very comfortable to wear against the skin. It sits halfway between our cotton jersey and the heavier, warmer sweatshirt fabric, which is usually brushed on the inside.
Ideal for comfortable hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts for autumn, warmer dresses, jumpers, tracksuit and jogging bottoms, pyjamas and so on.
