Description
Tubular cotton ribbing in anthracite, GOTS-certified. It comes as a tube, is 70 cm wide across the tube and weighs 395 g/m2 – a firm ribbing with plenty of body for sleeve cuffs, necklines, waistbands and hem edges. Material: 95 % cotton and 5 % elastane.
The advantage of tubular goods is that you need no lengthwise seam: you cut the tube to the height you want and immediately have a closed ring. Measure the circumference of the opening, cut the ribbing shorter than that circumference and stretch it evenly as you sew it on, so that the edge sits close instead of standing away. Anthracite is a dark grey that goes with almost any patterned jersey if black is too harsh for you.
