Description
Thermolam volume wadding by Vlieseline in natural is the interlining for everything that needs a little padding. The natural shade does not show through even under light-coloured cotton fabric. My tip: tack the layers by hand once before quilting, then no corner shifts while you sew.
Properties: Heavy, soft and compact sew-in volume wadding made of synthetic fibres with good heat and cold insulation properties.
Uses: You take it for pot holders and trivets (use at least a double layer there), for loose covers and for patchwork and quilting. You can also use it as an ironing pad (again at least a double layer) and as a pressing cloth if you want to protect delicate fabrics with beads or sequins. Suitable for all fabrics.
Benefits: soft despite its high density, medium loft, easy to work with, ideal ironing pad, good heat and cold insulation properties.
Application: You simply lay the wadding underneath and sew it in. The quilting spacing is 15 – 20 cm. You can also use it as an ironing pad and, to protect delicate fabrics (beads, sequins), as a pressing cloth.
Care: washable up to 30°C on a gentle cycle. Please carry out application tests before working with the products.
