Description
The swivel snap hook is the fastening for detachable bag straps: you clip the shoulder strap in, take it off again or swap it for a shorter one, entirely without sewing. Because the eye part swivels, the webbing does not twist while you carry the bag.
This is a metal snap hook with a spring catch and no lever, designed for 25 mm webbing. The overall height is 50 mm and the overall width 30 mm. The surface is iridescent and shimmers in changing shades depending on how the light falls.
To attach it, take the end of the webbing around the bar, fold it back and secure it with a bar tack. My tip: measure first to check that your webbing really is 25 mm, because wider webbing jams in the hook.
