Description
Organic Selanik knit fabric in Everglade: a deep turquoise with a pull towards green that looks calm next to denim blue and grey. I would sew a longer cardigan with deep pockets from it. Cut in a single layer, then nothing shifts while you transfer the pattern pieces.
Organic Selanik by Stoffonkel
Selanik: a wonderful knit fabric with a silky sheen. The knit pattern is an elegant rib. The reverse is smooth, so the fabric feels wonderful against the skin. The light nylon content gives the fabric a beautiful shimmer. The rib structure together with the small amount of elastane gives the stretch that comfortable garments need. At 350 grams per square metre the fabric is a little heavier than our jacquard, for example, which weighs in at around 290 grams. Our Selanik is nevertheless light enough to sew comfortable garments that do not become too heavy. The reverse stabilises the fabric so that it cannot lose its shape.

We recommend washing the garments inside out.
The organic fabric can be washed up to 40°. Optical brighteners and high spin speeds should be avoided. We have had good experiences with bleach-free organic detergents.
