Brown fold-over elastic goes with earth tones, mustard and rust red – colours where black would look too harsh. On a pair of pyjamas in cotton jersey or along the top edge of a fabric bag it blends in quietly. Stretch the tape only lightly as you sew it on, otherwise the seam ripples.
The elastic binding tape lets you neaten necklines and armholes or trouser waistbands cleanly. On stretchy fabrics such as underwear and T-shirts in particular, the tape adapts flexibly. The elastic waistband reinforcement is folded down the middle, wrapped around the hem and stitched. The tape can also be used to set fashionable colour accents. The product is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and meets the highest demands in terms of skin friendliness and environmentally and resource-friendly manufacture. The elastic binding tape is washable up to 60 degrees.
