Eyelets in silver are the classic choice when you want to guide a cord neatly through the fabric – on the hood of a hoodie, on a drawstring bag or on the lacing of a bag. The bright shine suits denim just as well as light-coloured fabrics. Reinforce the spot with Vlieseline beforehand and nothing will tear out.
Embellishing without sewing? Very easy! The classic eyelets with washers from Prym can be used in many ways and are a real gain for lace fastenings, craft projects, as a fashionable decorative element or for home decoration, for example. The rustproof eyelets are made of brass and are available in various colours and with different inner measurements. While the 4,5 and 8 mm sizes can be attached with a hammer, the Vario pliers or the three-legged tool as you prefer, the eyelets with 11 mm and 14 mm inner diameter can only be worked with the enclosed tool together with a hammer. The eyelets should be attached so firmly that they can no longer turn – this prevents the eyelet from coming loose when the fabric is pulled taut.
