Description
Elastic piping in light grey, 8 mm wide, made of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. Light grey is the discreet version: on grey marl sweatshirt fabric, on pastel shades and in baby clothes it sets a line that you see close up and only take in as a fine edge from a distance.
It goes into panel seams, on hoods, ribbing and pocket edges. When you pipe all the way round, on a cushion for example, you eventually meet the start again: leave both ends overlapping by a few centimetres there, run them out into the seam allowance and put the join somewhere that will sit underneath later. Use the zip foot to stitch it down.
