Description
The D-ring in rose gold sets a warm accent on bags and rucksacks. With pastel shades, pink, grey and light canvas the colour comes into its own without looking as cool as silver.
Inside, the half-round ring is 32mm wide and 20mm high, outside it measures 40mm by 30mm. You pull the webbing or a tab over the straight side, and the snap hook hangs on the curve.
With light-coloured fabrics, tidy work on the tabs pays off: fold the edges precisely, topstitch close to the edge and use tailor’s chalk or a water-erasable marker for marking rather than a ballpoint pen. Two rings per strap is the usual reckoning, plus the slider.
