Description
The gold D-ring in the small size suits sewing projects that are meant to stay dainty: make-up bags, small shoulder bags or a charm on the zip pull.
Inside, the ring measures 25mm with a height of 15mm, on the outside it comes to 34mm. For narrow tabs made of bag fabric or a thin webbing, this is the right size.
For the tab, take a strip, fold it lengthways to the centre and topstitch it close to the edge. Wrapped around the ring and caught into the side seam, it sits securely. With small rings it is worth grading the seam allowance in the tab area so the machine does not stall over the layers.
