Bag feet in gold add a warm accent to a sewn bag and keep the base clean at the same time: the metal bag studs are fitted from the outside and carry the weight as soon as you set the bag down.
Each stud measures 12 x 5 mm, and the metal is nickel-free and washable. Gold shows to best effect on quiet outer fabrics, such as canvas, faux leather or a plain furnishing fabric.
Plan the feet in at the cutting stage and mark the positions at an equal distance from the corner and the seam. Reinforce the spots from the inside, push the prongs through and bend them flat. If you like, choose the label, snap fasteners and closure in the same gold tone.
