Description
Cotton jersey with zoo animals by Fräulein von Julie – a children’s fabric for raglan tops, harem trousers, reversible beanies and babygrows. It is made of 95 % cotton and 5 % elastane, is approx. 150 cm wide, weighs 193 g/m2 and is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
With a printed fabric it is worth thinking about placement: before you cut, check whether the animals face a particular way, and lay out the pattern pieces so that they sit the same way on the front and the back. The soft handle makes this jersey pleasant for baby clothes. Sew with a jersey needle and a stretch stitch, hem with a twin needle – and pre-wash the fabric once before cutting.
