Description
Wide-wale corduroy with stretch in mustard yellow: the strong ribbed texture you know from corduroy, plus an elastane content in the weave. From this fabric you can sew trousers, skirts and dresses that give when you sit down.
It is made of 97% cotton and 3% elastane, weighs 280 g/m2 and is 142 to 145 cm wide. Mustard yellow is a warm, muted shade of yellow.
Corduroy has a pile direction: lay all the pattern pieces the same way, otherwise the finished pieces will look different in brightness. Because of the stretch, sew with a stretch needle and a slightly elastic stitch. Pre-wash the fabric once before cutting; with cotton that is simply part of the craft.
