Description
White stretch sweatshirt fabric, brushed inside: the basis when you want to design something yourself. Heat transfer vinyl, appliqués and embroidery show up most clearly on light sweatshirt fabric, and as a counterpoint to colourful patterned sweatshirt fabrics you will always need a plain one.
The fabric is made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane, weighs 250 g/m2 and is 160 cm wide.
White forgives little: work with clean hands, do not lay the cut pieces on coloured surfaces and pre-wash the fabric before sewing. Sew with a jersey needle and a stretch stitch or on the overlocker. With a dark lining or dark ribbing it is worth testing beforehand whether anything shows through.
