Description

Ecru is the off-white, slightly beige shade: this woven interfacing G 770 by Vlieseline stays discreet under pale and natural-coloured fabrics. Handy for button bands on linen blouses, for pocket flaps or when reinforcing a neckline. With small pieces it pays to fuse first and cut afterwards.

USES AND BENEFITS

Properties

Medium-weight, fusible woven interfacing made from synthetic fibres. The textured yarn gives it a very soft surface.
Composition: 100% PES
Weight: 70g/m²
Width: 75 cm

Used for:

Small pieces on blouses and dresses as well as full-front interfacing on stretch jackets. Lightweight, sheer and delicate fabrics.

Benefits of the product:

  • a balanced combination of softness, body and recovery
  • very well suited to universal use on modern fashion fabrics for complete front interfacing and small pieces
  • extremely resistant to laundering and cleaning
  • excellent adhesion once fused

How to use it:

1. Like all interfacings by Vlieseline, the woven interfacing is always cut lengthwise, following the grain of the fabric.

2. Place the interfacing coated side down on the wrong side of the main fabric, cover it with a damp cloth and press the iron down step by step for approx. 8 sec. Do not slide it.

3. After fusing, leave the pieces to cool flat for approx. 30 min. so that the bond can stabilise.

Iron setting:

8 seconds, wool-cotton (2-3 dots)

Care:

  • washable up to 40°C on a gentle cycle
  • dry cleaning
