Description
Silk fabric in a jacquard weave, turquoise: a fine, flowing blouse fabric in pure silk. The pattern is woven in and comes forward in the light through the change of sheen. Suitable for blouses, tunics, scarves, dresses and for lining jackets and coats.
The material is 100% silk, the weight 72 g/m2, the width approx. 140 cm. At this low weight the fabric drapes softly and falls into fine folds.
Silk is smooth and likes to slip away when you cut it. Lay it on a cotton cloth, work with fine pins or with weights and cut with a rotary cutter. For sewing, use a fine needle, a thin thread and a short stitch length. French seams give you clean edges, and the seam allowance then disappears completely.
