Description

Ideal for women’s outerwear, lingerie, swimwear and sportswear. Framilastic keeps elastic seams in shape, or you use it to create decorative accents, elastic gathers or shirring. Sewable, very elastic with high tear strength (up to 450% stretch).

Composition: 100% PU. Weight: 160g/m².

Used for: securing elastic seams, e.g. shoulder seams in women’s outerwear, in lingerie, swimwear and sportswear, as well as for creative accents such as gathers, shirring and frills. Resistant to chlorine. All and transparent fabrics.

Product benefits: OEKO-TEX 100, class I. It has a high tear strength, is resistant to chlorine and kind to the skin.

How to use for gathering: cut the Framilastic shorter than the length you want to sew – depending on how much gathering you want to work in. At the start of your gathering, sew the tape on flat for about 1 cm (with a zigzag stitch, and do not forget to backstitch) so that it holds. Then stretch the tape to the desired length and sew it down under tension. Once you reach the end you have to backstitch again. When working with Framilastic, always stitch through the middle of the transparent tape. That way it sits evenly and holds just as evenly. Important: do not use fabric softener when washing.
