Description
Vlieseline S 530 is the firm interfacing for everything that has to stand up on its own: a work bag with a squared-off base, a fabric storage pot or the brim of a hat. Use it wherever a lightweight interfacing stays too soft and your cut pieces have to hold their shape for good.
Uses and benefits
Properties: medium-weight, stable, fusible firm interfacing made from synthetic fibres. Composition: 60% PES, 40% cellulose. Weight: 158g/m². Width: 45 cm.
You use it for fabric baskets, bags, belts and hats as well as other creative craft projects. Suitable for many fabrics.
The benefits: firm interfacing that stands up to washing and dry cleaning, smooth, fabric-like appearance, keeps its shape, safe and easy to fuse in place.
How to do it: 1. Place the interfacing with the coated side onto the wrong side of your main fabric. 2. Cover it with a damp cloth and press the iron down step by step for 15 sec., do not slide it. 3. After fusing, leave the pieces to cool flat for approx. 30 min. so that the bond can stabilise.
Iron setting: 15 seconds, wool-cotton (2-3 dots), with a damp cloth.
Care: washable up to 40°C on a gentle cycle, dry cleaning.
