Description
Dressmaker’s carbon paper by Prym in yellow, sheet size 82 x 57 cm: use it to transfer the lines from the paper pattern straight onto the fabric. Together with a tracing wheel you can easily copy darts, pocket positions, buttonholes and notches — in other words everything that would otherwise be lost when you cut out.
This is how you do it: lay the carbon paper on the fabric with the coloured side down, put the pattern piece on top, then trace over the lines with the wheel. Yellow shows up well on dark fabrics. My tip: always do a removability test on a fabric swatch or in the seam allowance before you mark your good cut pieces.
