Description
Bag studs in brushed gold are the understated version of shiny gold. The matt surface reflects less light and suits bags made of corduroy, canvas or cork. Like all bag feet, they keep the base at a distance so that it does not rest directly on the surface when you set the bag down.
The metal studs measure 12 x 5 mm, are nickel-free and washable and are fitted from the outside.
All you need to fit them is an awl or a thick needle: pierce a hole, insert the stud, bend the two prongs apart on the inside. Place a firm interfacing underneath first, otherwise the prongs will tear through the fabric. Set them evenly into the corners of the base.
