Description
Plain blue fine-knit ribbing as tubular fabric, the classic ribbing for sleeves, waistbands and necklines. A calm blue that combines with denim fabrics, striped jerseys and sweatshirt fabric in grey or white.
The fine knit is made of 95 per cent cotton and 5 per cent elastane and weighs 289 g/m2. The tube measures approx. 28 cm, cut open into a single layer it is around 56 cm.
For a ribbing ring you sew the short edges together, fold the ring wrong sides together and pin it to the opening in quarters; that way the stretch is distributed evenly. It is worked with a jersey needle and an overlocker or an elastic stitch. If you like to topstitch the seam, use the twin needle for it.
