Description
Elastic piping in pink, 8 mm wide, made of 92% PA and 8% EL. Pink is the colour for a clear accent: on a grey or black sweatshirt fabric this narrow tape draws a line you notice straight away. Typical places are raglan seams on a hoodie, side seams on leggings or the edge of a patch pocket.
Since the piping moves with the fabric as it stretches, it suits every stretchy sewing project. Lay it in with the cord side towards the middle of the fabric and sew with a foot that runs close along the raised edge. For a consistent look you can add the same piping on the sleeve hem or the hood – then the garment looks planned rather than decorated as an afterthought.
