Description
Elastic piping in dark grey, 8 mm wide, made of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. Dark grey traces a seam clearly without looking as hard as black – on raglan sleeves, hood seams, pocket flaps and yokes it gives your sewing project a crisp outline.
Because it stretches with the fabric, it suits jersey, sweatshirt fabric and French Terry, not just woven fabric. On curves, at the neckline or a pocket corner for instance, it works better if you hold the piping with clips instead of pins and snip into the allowance several times at the tightest point. Sew slowly and close to the cord, then the joining seam disappears underneath it later.
