Description
Elastic piping in light olive, 8 mm wide. Piping is the narrow strip that you lay between two layers of fabric in the seam so that a fine line stays visible along the edge. Because this one is elastic, you can also use it in jersey and sweatshirt fabric without the seam losing its stretch.
Light olive is a soft green that goes with natural tones, mustard, rust and denim blue, and works tone on tone on olive-coloured fabrics. The material is 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. When you sew, place the piping between the layers of fabric with the cord facing inwards, tack it in place and stitch as close to the cord as you can with the zip foot – the overlocker takes care of neatening afterwards.
