Description
The elastic cord ball is a braided elastic cord with a diameter of 5 mm, wound into a ball holding 10 metres. In black and in this thickness it is the drawcord for hoods on hoodies and jackets, for waist ties on skirts and trousers, and for drawstring bags where a thin cord would cut in too quickly.
It consists of 71 % polyamide and 29 % elastane, is very soft, has double stretch and is washable up to 95 degrees. It is made in Germany. Because the ball holds 10 metres it is enough for several sewing projects and you do not have to calculate too tightly. A bodkin is ideal for threading it through, and the end is secured with a cord lock or a firm knot.
