Description
Light grey is the understated version of this muslin with broderie anglaise – a colour that always works next to denim and white. It makes a summer shirt with an open collar or a loose pinafore dress. Use a fine needle so that you do not pull any threads of the embroidery while sewing.
The trend fabric par excellence – over the past few years yesterday’s muslin squares and nappy cloths for babies have become today’s summer clothing fabric. This one, however, should not simply be compared with an ordinary gauze cloth. Because this cotton muslin with fine broderie anglaise is double-layered and joined at individual points.
It is also known as double gauze or gauze! It makes an ideal clothing fabric for light garments such as blouses or dresses, but can just as well be used for baby cribs or bed linen. The crinkled surface is what makes it so appealing to anyone who hates ironing, and the handle is wonderfully soft.
