Bright pink webbing, 30 mm wide, in 100 % polypropylene from Hotex. You take synthetic webbing for everything that has to stand up to a lot and is used every day: a drawstring bag for a nursery-school child, a swimming bag, carrying loops on a shopping bag or a lead.
Bright pink is eye-catching, and that is exactly what makes it practical on children’s accessories – the bag is recognised on the peg at once. You can melt the cut ends of polypropylene briefly over a flame, then nothing frays; work on a heatproof surface and keep your distance from the fabric. To attach it, stitch a box with a cross at every fixing point.
