Description
Bag studs in silver, also known as bag feet, protect the base of the bag you have sewn yourself. They are fitted from the outside and hold the fabric a few millimetres above the surface as soon as you set the bag down.
The bag feet are made of metal, measure 12 x 5 mm and are nickel-free and washable. Silver is the quietest tone and works well with zips, snap hooks and rings in the same colour.
Fit the feet into the corners of the base before you sew in the lining. On the inside, every position needs a firm interfacing underneath, otherwise the prongs will work their way through the fabric over time. Mark the position, pierce it with an awl, fold the prongs flat.
