Description
Tubular ribbing in forest green, GOTS certified: the matching ribbing fabric for sleeves, necklines, waistbands and trouser hems on shirts, hoodies and sweat jackets. Forest is a deep, muted green.
The fibre composition is 95% cotton and 5% elastane, the weight 395 g/m2, the width 70 cm in the tube. Thanks to the elastane content, the ribbing pulls back together after being stretched.
As tubular goods, you do not have to sew the ribbing together lengthwise, which saves you a seam. Measure the opening, cut the ribbing shorter and sew it on stretched so that it sits close. A jersey needle and an elastic stitch or an overlocker, then the seam takes the stretch with it. Pre-wash before cutting so that ribbing and main fabric react in the same way.
